Ensure a smooth-running school day and prioritize student accountability with printed tardy slips. These slips boost security with clear tracking, increased responsibility through physical documentation, and organized accurate records.
Say goodbye to wasting time with printed templates and handwritten notes! PerfectPass lets you print tardy slips electronically, streamlining the process for both administrators and students.
How to Print Tardy Slips in PerfectPass
PerfectPass is designed to work seamlessly with your school’s existing tardy policy. During initial setup, you’ll define a list of incidents, including tardiness, cell phone misuse, dress code violations, and more. This post will focus specifically on handling tardy incidents.
Once configured, PerfectPass automatically follows your tardy policy. For example, you might set up a rule where 1-3 tardy incidents result in a warning, while 4 or more lead to detention.

Automated or Manual Printing
After assigning a tardy incident, administrators have the flexibility to choose how the tardy slip is handled:
- Automatic Printing: PerfectPass can be configured to automatically print a tardy slip based on your pre-defined policy (e.g., print a warning slip for the 3rd tardy).
- Manual Printing: You can also manually choose to print a tardy slip with one of three options:
- Pass: No disciplinary action needed.
- Warning: Can count towards future disciplinary action.
- Detention: Includes detention assignment information on the slip.
Printing Made Easy
Printing tardy slips is convenient with PerfectPass. The destination depends on how you’re accessing the system:
- Desktop Computer: Tardy slips will print from your associated desktop pass printer.
- Mobile App: If you’re using the PerfectPass mobile app, the slip will print via a paired Bluetooth mobile printer.
By eliminating paper and manual documentation, PerfectPass saves valuable time and reduces administrative burden. This allows you to focus on what matters most – supporting your students and staff. Contact us for a free demo.
