Our Security Posture
At Vision Database Systems, we take the security of our systems and your data seriously. Our commitment to security is reflected in our practices, technologies, and efforts to stay ahead of potential threats.
Encryption and Protocols
We use industry-standard encryption and protocols to protect your data.
Our cloud applications support TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3 for secure communications, and AES-256 encryption for data at rest.
Note: We will deprecate support for TLS 1.0 and 1.1 on August 8th, 2024.
Access Control
We follow the principle of least privilege in our access control. Data access is granted only to employees who need it for their job functions. All resource access is monitored and logged to maintain system security.
Database Security & Backups
Our database security measures include encrypted backups, read replicas, and snapshots. Database servers are isolated on our own virtual network for added security.
Network access to our databases is controlled through firewall policies, which we regularly review and update to address new threats.
Continuous Improvement
We are committed to ongoing security improvements. This includes staying current with security technologies and methodologies. We proactively address potential vulnerabilities to maintain effective security measures.
Test Your Browser Security
We encourage you to test your browser’s security settings to understand your current security posture.
This link opens howsmyssl.com, which analyzes your browser’s TLS capabilities. A Version result of “TLS 1.2” or “TLS 1.3” ensures that you will have continued access to our cloud applications after August 8th, 2024.
