Bundled Annual Contracts
Resellers must choose from one of the following support plans to bill customers for annual support and
free software download contracts. Please choose Plan A or B. Generally, all new resellers will default to
Plan A. More experienced resellers will choose Plan B if they have taken tech training to learn how to install
and support our software. Alternatively, seasoned resellers may choose neither plan but only if they have
prepaid contracted labor hours on file with us, either a 10-hour block, 20-hour block, or 30-hour block.
PLAN A Tech Support
**Contracts include latest release of software, tech support, and customer service directly with
your customers per agreement based on annual hourly limits (applies to telephone and remote
computer support)
** Tech Support up to 4 hours plus 1/2 hour per license up to max 10 hours per year per customer
account.
Choose this option if you have no tech support, if you choose not to use your own tech support, or if you
simply want us to handle your customers directly.
PLAN B Tech Support
**This plan is only available to resellers who have completed VDS technical training
**Contracts include latest release of software and tech support to the reseller within yearly hourly limits
(applies to telephone and remote computer support). Under this plan, the reseller handles support directly
with the customer and VDS supports the reseller.
** Tech Support up to 4 hours plus 1/2 hour per license up to max 10 hours per year.
Choose this option if you want us to support your tech dept and you support your own customer. We will
only get involved with your customer on an exception basis, and we will not take calls directly from your
customer.
Installation and Training
Installation, configuration, and training hours. Remote VNC or similar internet access to PC
desired. Travel costs extra. Choose between a half day (4 hr) or a full day (8 hr) block.
Database Integration Service
Integration service to reseller or to customer on behalf of reseller. Items include PC upgrades, automated
downloads, and other database integration or service work related to ID and tracking projects.
Connectivity to Lenel, Johnson Controls, Oracle, Illumia, etc. Travel costs extra. Choose between a half day
(4hr) or a full day (8hr) block.
